Augmented Reality experience for interior design
Augmented Reality (AR) is changing the way designers and users envision new products in interior spaces. At Creafogar, a pop-up event focused on interior design and decoration, this technology allowed attendees to interactively explore how various lighting and furniture pieces would fit into different environments. In collaboration with two standout brands, AR showcased its potential to offer creative and practical solutions for interior design.
Creafogar: a unique pop-up design event in Galicia
Creafogar, first held in 2024, is an interior design ephemeral event that ran for 20 days in Santiago de Compostela. During this time, a historic home was transformed with furniture and household products exclusively from Galician brands. The renovated space blended tradition with modernity, reflecting the authenticity of Galician design and offering visitors an immersive experience.
In this setting, AR played a crucial role by allowing visitors to interact with products dynamically. Through AR, attendees could visualize how furniture and décor would look in different settings, adding an innovative touch to the exhibition and highlighting AR's usefulness in interior design projects.
Augmented Reality with Bela Furtiva Furniture
At Creafogar, Galician brand Bela Furtiva showcased several of their furniture designs, which draw inspiration from local roots and the art world. We collaborated with them to bring their Cósima coffee table to life through AR. This technology allowed visitors to place the table in various rooms, giving them a realistic preview of how it would fit in their own homes before making a purchase decision. By simply scanning a QR code or visiting our website from their mobile device, the Cósima table appeared virtually in any room, demonstrating AR’s practical value for interior design.
Augmented Reality with A-emotional Light
a·emotional light, an innovative company specializing in intelligent lighting solutions, combines cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking design to create personalized lighting experiences. Their products adapt to users' emotions and needs, transforming spaces to enhance well-being.
At Creafogar, they presented several of their lighting designs, and we worked with them to bring their Blossom table lamp to life through AR. This immersive experience allowed visitors to place the Blossom lamp in real-time across different spaces, showcasing its elegance and functionality. The use of AR demonstrated the technology's potential to visualize lighting products before implementing them in interior design projects.
